Professor in Central South University, P. R. China, and Ph.D in Hong Kong Baptist University. Research interests in arsenic contamination in rice, ecological restoration of contaminated land, metal mobility and bioavailability in soils, as well as metal tolerance in plants. My research has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Research and Development Program of China and Natural Science Foundation of Hunan, China etc. Previous publications are on Journal of Hazardous Materials, Land Degradation & Development, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Experimental Botany, Environmental Pollution, Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, Environmental Research, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Journal of Environmental Sciences and International Journal of Phytoremediation etc.
